Instructors’ Conference
This will aim to continue the feeling of community spirit, which was started in Almada (Portugal) in 2003 at the 1st
Shotokai International Meeting (http://www.cao.pt/surya/jp_17_5e.htm) and in 2008 at the Shotokai International Infants
Meeting (http://www.cao.pt/shoto/shoto_5-7-1.pdf and http://www.cao.pt/shoto/shoto_5-7-2.pdf).
These were attended
by delegates from various parts of the Shotokai world (Belgium, Chile, England, France, Italy, Mexico, Portugal,
Scotland, Spain). We hope that this momentum of the world community will continue at this meeting.
The description by one of the participating dojos who attended the Shotokai International Infants Meeting in 2008
captured the essence and purpose of these meetings beautifully: “This was an innovative event which sought to
discuss and exchange experiences…”.
The Instructors’ Conference will aim to foster discussion & movement as one worldwide community, as in 2003 & 2008.
